And it is rarely a good guess. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>No context<\/strong> \u2013 if you do not say who the text is for and what it will be used for, you will get generic nonsense.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Setting the bar too low<\/strong> \u2013 many people do not realise how much you can actually steer the output if you are willing to do a bit of groundwork.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">So how do you get something that actually works?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" wp-block-paragraph\">It starts with understanding that AI is not a magical text machine. It is a collaborator that requires you to take the lead. Here are our 8 best prompt tips, straight from the engine room.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"context\">1. Start with the context<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" wp-block-paragraph\">AI is not a mind reader. It needs to know: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Who are we speaking to?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What is the purpose?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What format should it be in?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" wp-block-paragraph\">The clearer you are, the sharper the answer will be. Think of it as a briefing \u2013 just for a robot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"info\">2. Give it something to work with<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" wp-block-paragraph\">The more relevant input, the better the output. Drop in a link, an existing text, or a note with the key points. Use what you already have \u2013 or find something good online.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"define\">3. Define the role<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" wp-block-paragraph\">You will get something completely different from AI if you ask it to behave like someone specific. Have a clear goal<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" wp-block-paragraph\">Avoid fluff like \u201cwrite a text about our new product\u201d. Say instead: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\" wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWrite a product description for our new rain jacket. It should convince people that it is the most durable on the market \u2013 max 150 words.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" wp-block-paragraph\">Boom. Now the AI has something concrete to work with. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"format\">5. Set requirements for format and length<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" wp-block-paragraph\">Do you want bullet points, headings, body text? Should it be 300 words or 1,000 characters? Say so. Provide feedback along the way<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" wp-block-paragraph\">If you are not satisfied, say why. Feel free to use \u201cthis works, but I am missing X\u201d. You need to think in iterations \u2013 a bit like when you edit copy from a colleague.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"whatworks\">7. Save what works<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" wp-block-paragraph\">When you have a prompt that works, use it again. Build a library of templates \u2013 for blog posts, <a href=\"https:\/\/morningtrain.dk\/en\/what-does-some-mean\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"63411\">social media<\/a> posts, emails, you name it. Give the AI your brand DNA<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" wp-block-paragraph\">Do yourself a favour and create a prompt or a project where you feed the AI your tone of voice, brand values, and target audiences. Then you do not have to start from scratch every time \u2013 and you avoid ending up with AI copy that sounds like a 2019 template. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">It is about taking control<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" wp-block-paragraph\">AI is great. But you need to be the one in charge. When you learn to write good prompts, you get output you can actually use \u2013 and that is where the magic happens.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" wp-block-paragraph\">Or as Matti puts it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-mt-blog-post-text-box mt-blog-post-text-box\"><div class=\"mt-blog-post-text-box__inner page-container\"><div class=\"mt-blog-post-text-box__box\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cAI is not a copy machine. It is a conversation partner.
