live pages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Update outdated content on external websites and get a link back to you<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create listings in various business directories<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Basically, you do \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/morningbound.dk\/hvad-er-backlinks-og-hvorfor-er-de-vigtige\/\">link building<\/a>\u201d by acquiring inbound <a href=\"https:\/\/morningbound.dk\/hvad-er-backlinks-og-hvorfor-er-de-vigtige\/\">links<\/a> from external websites to your own website.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These Strong links from trustworthy and relevant sites are something <a href=\"https:\/\/morningtrain.dk\/en\/hvad-er-google\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"63362\">Google<\/a> places great importance on when it comes to search rankings, and we can obtain them by paying for them.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In practice, this is done by paying a site to publish a sponsored post in the form of an article on their site, which includes a link to your own website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"312\" src=\"https:\/\/morningtrain.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/oprettelse-af-backlink-1-1024x312.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16301\" srcset=\"https:\/\/morningtrain.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/oprettelse-af-backlink-1-1024x312.png 1024w, https:\/\/morningtrain.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/oprettelse-af-backlink-1-300x92.png 300w, https:\/\/morningtrain.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/oprettelse-af-backlink-1.png 2000w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"hvilkelinks\">Which factors matter when assessing which links you should buy?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As I have also mentioned in my other blog post, there are <a href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/@Amitdigital\/3-factors-which-make-a-link-extremely-powerful-for-your-business-1809e11d48da\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">3 factors<\/a> that come into play when defining what makes a good link \u2013 <strong>relevance, trustworthiness, and popularity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ultimately, these are the 3 factors you should use to assess which links you should buy. All websites are unique and relevant in their own way, so it will always vary which links are most relevant for your specific website. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For a website that sells furniture online, for example, it would be very valuable to get links from sites about interior design, as their content is highly relevant to that website. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the other hand, it would not be particularly relevant to get a link from a site that, for example, is about animal welfare\u2026 With the one exception if the site is very popular and trustworthy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It can still be a very valuable link if it comes from a website with many visitors and that is considered trustworthy in the eyes of <a href=\"https:\/\/morningtrain.dk\/en\/hvad-er-google\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"63362\">search engines<\/a>. The major news sites in Denmark are good examples of such sites. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/morningtrain.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/illu_linkbuilding_relevans-trovaerdighed-popularitet.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-42937\" srcset=\"https:\/\/morningtrain.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/illu_linkbuilding_relevans-trovaerdighed-popularitet.jpg 700w, https:\/\/morningtrain.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/illu_linkbuilding_relevans-trovaerdighed-popularitet-300x171.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"organisk\">Organic links are still worth the effort \u2013 here is how to get them!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It can quickly sound as if it is not worth spending time acquiring organic links, since you can pay to be sure of getting a link from another website of your own choosing. However, that is not the truth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In fact, it can very much pay off to work on acquiring organic links\u2014there is just always a risk that your efforts will not bear fruit, as it ultimately depends on whether you can get the site to link to your website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you succeed, there is a very high likelihood that you have gained a very valuable link\u2014and as I mentioned in my previous blog post, 1 good link is worth far more than 100 bad ones!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When acquiring organic links, there are many different methods you can use, but here I will give you 3 methods that provide the best conditions for succeeding with your organic link building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"407\" src=\"https:\/\/morningtrain.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/outreach-linkbuilding-1-1-1024x407.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19064\" srcset=\"https:\/\/morningtrain.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/outreach-linkbuilding-1-1-1024x407.png 1024w, https:\/\/morningtrain.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/outreach-linkbuilding-1-1-300x119.png 300w, https:\/\/morningtrain.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/outreach-linkbuilding-1-1.png 2000w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"mentions\">Mentions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/morningtrain.dk\/en\/unlinked-mentions-how-to-get-valuable-backlinks\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"63258\">Mentions<\/a> is a method where you search the web for pages that mention your website, in order to actively try to get that page to link to your website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is one of the most effective methods for acquiring organic links, but it is also very time-consuming, as it requires contacting the person behind the page and making a sales pitch about why it would benefit their website and its visitors to link to the content on your website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To find out where your website is mentioned online, you can either try searching for the name on Google or use an SEO tool. The method is therefore about filling a gap that is already there\u2014you just need to have your arguments ready as to why they should link to you specifically. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Updating outdated content<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The last method I will present to you is by far the most time-consuming. But the potential link you can gain will be incredibly valuable!
