New B2b Webshop and Dealer Portal for +1,200 Customers

Exodraft, located on the outskirts of Odense, experienced that their sales departments spent a significant amount of time on manual order creation for customers and updating product data. With their new B2B webshop and dealer portal, a large part of this has been automated – and they can use their time more productively.

Problem

Exodraft experienced that their sales departments spent a lot of manual time processing orders for customers and updating product data. In addition, the manual process increased the risk of human error. Therefore, they wanted our help to develop a dealer portal that could automate the updating of prices, products, stock levels, currencies and customer discounts.

Plan

Based on a close dialogue with Exodraft’s IT and sales departments, we planned to develop a Laravel-based B2B dealer portal with full integration to Navision 2017. The portal was to automate order transfers, improve the customer experience for their more than 1,200 customers, and reduce the manual workload and thus also internal costs.

Result

Exodraft got a fully integrated B2B webshop and dealer portal, which has ensured automated updating of all relevant data from Navision 2017. The expected annual cost savings are between DKK 210,000-420,000, and customer satisfaction has improved due to faster and more reliable transactions.

By creating an automated synchronization of prices, stock levels and currencies from Navision 2017, we made it possible for each customer to see their specific prices in their preferred currency. This has improved the user experience and reduced errors in pricing.

With the new dealer portal, we have thus ensured Exodraft a scalable and future-proof solution that removes administrative work from the sales team. The automatic synchronization has eliminated almost all manual data entry, which has freed up resources for other value-creating activities and reduced internal costs by an expected DKK 210,000-420,000.
