Complete Redesign Delivered the Desired Visual Boost

United Fintech is a global platform that acquires and scales innovative fintech companies within capital markets. Their Copenhagen division reached out to us to create a design for their website platform that would help set the framework for their future growth ambitions.

The importance of “beautiful design” was particularly emphasized when United Fintech pitched the project.

Problem

United Fintech didn’t have a digital platform that matched their reality. Among other things, they needed their expression to reflect more of a “SaaS” company (Software as a Service).

Plan

We initiated a concept phase where we developed a new design through workshops and dialogue.

Several illustrations were also created to help establish a “SaaS” feel on the website.

Result

The website was launched with a completely new sharp expression.
You’ll particularly notice the many animations built into the solution to give a sense of “SaaS” and “Tech”. The website is built in WordPress as CMS, which is flexible and user-friendly to work with.

The design objective was to create a cutting edge and modern design that would feel intuitive and engaging for visitors.

The mission was certainly accomplished, and at the CSS Design Awards 2022, the design won not just one – but four awards:

It was highlighted that our designers’ unique hand-drawn illustrations, which were subsequently converted into animations that automatically played on the website, were a significant reason why we won the design awards.

Process

An iterative process ensuring important agility

United Fintech had a specific request; that we could be agile and adapt our workflow according to their needs.

This was important because United Fintech is a company undergoing significant development, and new elements often needed to be incorporated into their digital solution with rapid implementation.

Collaboration

MVP mindset with weekly sprints

Since the collaboration was to be based on agility, we decided together to hold weekly sprints where our work group could coordinate tasks in each sprint.

This also provided a good framework for discussing and reviewing deliverables. In addition to the weekly meetings, we also held monthly steering group meetings where we coordinated the overall scope and budget.
