Mathias Bærentsen
Backendudvikler
I am an engaged computer science graduate, where the focus of my daily work is to “crack the code.” I am driven by my passion for systems—how they are built and how they affect one another.
A little more about me:
I enjoy sharing experiences with others because it opens up new perspectives and provides a stronger professional foundation.
During my years as a football player, I learned the value of working together as a team, which is also reflected at Morningtrain, where all these qualities help ensure that projects succeed.
A good workday:
A good workday for me is when I can feel that I am making progress on the tasks I am responsible for—especially when I finally “crack” the code, I almost feel like thinking: “This could almost be framed and hung on the wall.”
A good workday can also be when I help a colleague move forward—whether it is with a specific task or just a small bump that is causing trouble. It matters to be able to contribute something tangible that actually makes a difference, and it strengthens the overall sense of team spirit.
Fun facts:
- I have a soft spot for the computer game Counter-Strike, which I have played since I was 16
- Energy drinks are one of the things you will always find on my desk. You could almost say that my blood type is Monster Energy
- If a recurring task annoys me and I feel it can be optimised, I am happy to spend my free time finding a solution
