Dansk Skoleidræt’s new visual identity supports the mission
Dansk Skoleidræt is based in Funen but works to strengthen learning, health, and well-being for schoolchildren across the country through sports, play, and movement. They wanted to highlight this in a new visual identity, which was also needed in connection with their move to new premises. Additionally, they wanted to implement the new identity on a new website that would bring all their activities together in a single platform.




The result
A unified web universe
All districts now have their own mini-website where visitors can see the current offerings in their specific district. Here, local webmasters have been able to manage the content on the pages.
Furthermore, one of the most important features in developing the new website was their activity database, which previously existed on a separate domain. This has now been integrated into the unified skoleidraet.dk universe, and here it is now possible for teachers, for example, to create a user account and save the activities that are relevant to their teaching.

The Proces
Workshops and dialog
The collaboration with Dansk Skoleidræt began with a workshop, where we gained a deeper understanding of the organization and their goals. After that, our designer started creating 10 different proposals for the new logo.
Based on the 10 logo drafts, we conducted an exercise with Dansk Skoleidræt in which they, without discussing with each other, had to choose the logo that best matched what they wanted to communicate.
Once they had decided on their new logo, we developed the remaining elements such as fonts, colors, icon style, and graphic elements, completing their visual identity. We then used this as a visual guideline in the development of their new website.

Cooperation
Close dialogue and collaboration
The process with Dansk Skoleidræt has been characterized throughout by a strong collaboration, with close dialogue through, among other things, ongoing status meetings.
In addition, our joint workshops have given us a deep understanding of Dansk Skoleidræt’s mission and goals, which is an important element when designing a new visual identity and logo.
Finally, we experienced a really good chemistry, which also contributed to making it an exciting project for both parties.
