Jettime A/S got a new secure and modern website

Most people in Europe have flown with the airline Jettime A/S. On a daily basis, Jettime provides aircraft and crew to major companies such as SAS, TUI, Bravo Tours, Spies and Apollo.

This is driven by a relationship-building vision that Jettime should be “More than just a flight”, which a new website was to communicate to the outside world.

Problem

Jettime A/S faced a major challenge: their current website was outdated, had security vulnerabilities, and no longer reflected their strong brand.

Due to potential security vulnerabilities, there was time pressure to launch a new website as quickly as possible—while still ensuring a proper relaunch. We were invited to help solve that challenge.

Plan

With a short deadline in mind, it was important to have a solid plan. The project therefore began with a brief, exploratory concept phase, where the clickable prototype and technical requirements were defined. The website was then developed in 14-day sprints, enabling Jettime to continuously approve partial deliveries to meet the deadline. In parallel, images and video were produced so the overall brand communication was ready for the new website.

Result

Jettime got a secure and modern website in Statamic CMS with dynamic modules and easy content editing in Danish, Finnish, Swedish and English.

In addition, we were tasked with automating passengers’ compensation claims for delayed flights (EU 261/2004). All delivered within 3 months, so we met the deadline.

Jettime’s new website was a significant step up—both in terms of security and in keeping their international brand in focus. In addition, it became possible for the website’s many landing pages to be easily maintained by internal staff in multiple languages within a single CMS.

Version 1.0 of the new website went live safely and smoothly

To meet Jettime’s wish to go live safely and smoothly within a short timeframe with a version 1.0, a structured process was essential.

The project started with a concept phase, during which non-functional requirements, technical requirements and a clickable prototype were developed. We then ran iterative implementation cycles together until version 1.0 was tested and ready for a secure launch, which was carried out smoothly.
