Juli Living

Accurate tracking and top rankings on Google

Juli Living is part of the Nordic property developer Nrep, which offers rental homes of various types. Among other things, we helped refine their tracking setup and achieve top rankings for business-critical keywords.

Challenge

Juli Living faced a challenge in that data from different analytics and advertising systems did not match, making it difficult to make well-informed decisions.

Plan

First, we implemented a correct tracking setup so Juli Living can use their data as a compass for, among other things, their marketing efforts. In addition, we carried out a thorough content and industry analysis.

Result

The effort has, among other things, resulted in more accurate tracking, more data, easier maintenance, and top rankings for several of their highest-priority keywords—both organically and through paid search.

When data, user insights, and SEO come together

Juli Living now has much more data to base decisions on—even when users decline cookies. Using Advanced Google Consent Mode, we can now report with +98% accuracy on, among other things, form submissions and other important events (of course fully compliant with the regulations).

In addition, Juli Living has seen a significant increase for 15 of their most business-critical keywords, which now rank in the top 5 of Google’s organic results. On average, these keywords have climbed 31 positions in rankings since we started the collaboration. This is, among other things, the result of a thorough content and industry analysis and optimization of the landing pages so they better match users’ search intent.

The result of tracking nerdiness and user-focused SEO

After we helped Juli Living with their tracking setup, they have experienced much more accurate data, and their cookies last longer. This provides, among other things, better conditions for the advertising and reporting platforms.

In addition, the improved tracking setup has resulted in more consistent tracking across, for example, GA4, Meta Ads, and Google Ads, and has made it easier to maintain. This means fewer errors and much easier tracking management—even as new rental projects are continuously added.

In terms of SEO, conversion optimization, and usability, we changed what users see first so they land on a page that makes sense to them. This is based on a thorough content and industry analysis.

Finally, we built a smart page template that ensures all on-page texts align with our content analysis. And that is something Google (and of course users) appreciates!

Data discrepancies created challenges

If data from different analytics and advertising systems does not match, it becomes difficult to make well-informed decisions. This was the challenge Juli Living experienced when they came to us.

To solve the challenge, we implemented thorough tracking in the form of server-side tracking, Advanced Google Consent Mode, as well as “Lookup Tables” and strict rules.

In addition, Juli Living did not rank for many of their business-critical keywords. Even though they had many of the necessary landing pages, these were not optimized from a conversion optimization perspective—and therefore not from an SEO perspective either.
