The ideal server solution
The ideal server solution depends on the challenge it needs to solve. At a very high level, a server solution is a way to store and manage data and applications. This can be on a physical server or a virtual server in the cloud.

What is a good solution?
In our world, a good server solution is
- Scalable
- Stable
- Secure
- Cost-effective
It should also be able to meet the company’s specific requirements and expectations. I would also argue that a good solution avoids the following pitfalls: lack of security, insufficient capacity, and poor support.
In particular, you must not underestimate support, because it is when everything goes wrong that you truly need direct and effective support.
What should you be aware of?
You should consider what is important to you.
If you can only choose 2 out of the following 3 options, which do you choose: time, price, or quality?
Depending on your answer, you should choose the solution and the provider that can meet that premise.
All too often, I see companies prioritise quality and time the most, yet still choose a solution where they do not have access to support, or where their servers are not staffed, because they could save some money.
Both mean that things take a long time, and that the solution is not continuously optimised, so it delivers the best possible performance. In other words, an economic choice has been made even though time and quality were more business-critical.

And you can come up with countless examples like that.
So choose the solution based on your priority, which you determine by selecting two of the three areas, which are:
- Time – things need to move fast.
- Quality – a scalable solution with high speed and low downtime.
- Price – it needs to be cheap or cost-minimised.
You should always pay attention to security, capacity, and support, as well as compatibility with existing systems and applications.
What are our recommendations for a setup?
Our recommendations would depend on the company’s specific requirements and expectations, but in general we would recommend a solution that is scalable, stable, secure, and only secondarily cost-effective, and that is able to meet the company’s specific requirements.
Here, we prefer a VPS solution (virtual servers), where each customer has their own private server for optimal performance and security.
In general, we believe you should prioritise quality and time higher than price, because the consequence of prioritising the latter is often that you “spend pounds to save pennies” meaning you end up paying a high price for buying server solutions cheaply.
You will pay for it with poor performance, poor uptime, or not being able to get quick help if challenges arise and when issues occur at the server level, it is business-critical for most companies.
What does a solution cost?
The price of a server solution can vary depending on capacity, support, and additional features. It is important to compare prices from multiple providers to find the best solution at the best price.
All our solutions include monitoring, upgrades, backup, and specialist support, so our prices start from DKK 399 per month. You can find solutions as low as DKK 19 per month, where all of this has been stripped out.
