Self-service Solution Optimizes Burger Chain

Grillen Group wanted a strong digital foundation for their burger chain to empower their staff administration.

The goal was a digital self-service solution that could reduce manual work with schedules, payroll systems, etc., while providing live data on key operational parameters.

Problem

Grillen Group was experiencing full growth with seven burger restaurants, which began to put pressure on administration and daily operations.

Schedules, payroll systems, and insights into daily key figures became increasingly difficult to synchronize across restaurants in a competitive market where knowing your operations inside out is essential for delivering a healthy business.

Plan

We initially held an analysis workshop where our lead developer and Grillen Group identified their requirements for their comprehensive intranet.

A backend was to be designed, incorporating contract signing, schedules, payroll systems, and a data bank from the various restaurants in a visually manageable reporting system.

Additionally, an ambitious timeline was created, where key functions were delivered and launched live, while the system was gradually expanded.

Result

Grillen Group launched their intranet, which provided value to operational oversight from the outset.

The new intranet has significantly reduced their manual administrative work with digital schedules and a digital payroll system, minimizing workload and manual errors.

Similarly, the intranet has provided management with a powerful tool to measure day-to-day developments for all seven restaurants and quickly identify potential operational issues.
